Chinese winemakers achieve fame in France after years of adversity
Seven years ago, a Chinese couple revamped an abandoned 18th-century French vineyard called Château La Bastide. After years of hard work and dedication, and facing adversity being the only Chinese winemakers in the region, Nan Ping Gao and her husband have created a globally respected wine found on menus in some of the highest-rated restaurants in the world.
