Russia eliminates 2,000 Ukrainian troops in Soledar. Russian forces have eliminated more than 2,000 Ukrainian troops in the battle in Soledar, one of the combat fronts in Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine. The offensive actions of Russian and allied forces, led to the loss of the 14th Mechanized Brigade of Armed Forces of Ukraine and members of other units retreating from the battle zone to positions behind of Ukraine.
