Ukraine is one week in to their counteroffensive to retake Kherson. Fighting is intense and Russia is taking heavy losses to hold an area of land that is incapable of being consistently re-supplied. Moscow more and more is signaling they want out of this war and they might be fighting to keep Kherson just to bargain it away to keep other territory.
