Putin declaration is 'worrying escalation', says foreign minister

In response to President Putin's address, foreign minister Gillian Keegan said his declaration is a "worrying escalation" of the war in Ukraine, which began in February. She added that the threats should be taken "seriously" and told Ukrainians "we're there, we're by your side – we will help as much as we can."
