Spanish, French, Arabic, Mandarin, English, and other languages are often considered international languages because they're spoken all around the world. Other languages, like Italian, have a large Italian speaking population in Italy, but the other regions that speak Italian are often not considered when foreign language students are selecting a language to learn. However, there are many countries around the world where there are large Italian speaking populations.
