In this video, we’re going to talk about early time-restricted eating. In my first book, I recommended that everyone should eat breakfast. In my second book, I removed that recommendation. After reviewing the research, I tried early time-restricted eating and I’m very impressed with the benefits.

Early eating aligns with your circadian rhythm, so it can be beneficial to avoid eating after 3:00p.m.

Here are 7 benefits of early time-restricted eating:

    1. Better HOMA-IR (insulin sensitivity)

    2. Better blood sugars

    3. Better B-cell response

    4. Lower appetite in the evening

    5. Better insulin levels after eating

    6. Autophagy

    7. Food genes downgraded in the evening

Biochemical pathways that are associated with eating and food are normally downgraded in the evening. Eating reactivates those food genes, which is why I'm experimenting with my eating pattern. I’m still fasting for 20 hours each day, I've just shifted my eating pattern from 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m!

    What's your reaction?
