Concern over Chinese ice cream that doesn’t melt even when burned

Zhong Xue Gao, dubbed the ‘Hermès of ice cream’ for its pricey treats, is facing questions about its products’ contents after it was revealed that the ice cream does not melt in hot temperatures or when exposed to fire. In July, a viral video clip showed a man using a lighter to burn one of the ice cream bars – only to reveal it did not melt but turned into a sticky state.
