Intel has rebranded their manufacturing process nodes. What was once 10nm is now 7nm, through the power of a press release. To be fair to Intel, their 10nm is competitive with the 7nm processes from Samsung and TSMC, the other big players in the chip-making space, and the rename realigns each companies nodes to be roughly comparable. In addition to the rename, Intel also gave us info on their upcoming CPU
