Perched on its steep rock, 700 meters above sea level, the castle of Pesteils (Cantal) dominates the village of Polminhac and the Cère valley.

Around its medieval keep, a main building remodeled in the 17th century. The castle was also enlarged and restored in the 19th century.

Since 1608, it has been the property of the Cassagne de Beaufort de Miramon Pesteils family, who still live there today.
