Europe is facing the biggest security crisis since World War II, but two of the bloc’s most powerful members seem to have taken a back seat. Europe’s most powerful economy and military, respectively, do not seem to be doing much to mitigate the crisis. The top political leaders in both France and Germany have acknowledged the scale of the crisis and have denounced Russia. However, experts say the duo have failed to match their own rhetoric and support Kyiv’s battle against Russia.
