Satellite images show at least eight Russian warplanes destroyed at Crimea airbase

Fresh satellite images have shown devastation from explosions two days ago at a Russian air base in the peninsula. It is still unconfirmed what caused the blasts. Meanwhile, both Ukrainian and Russian forces appear to be stuck in a deadlock at the frontlines in the southern Kherson region, but Kyiv has said it is preparing to recapture it. While Russia has reinforced the Kherson region, Ukraine hopes the US rocket systems that arrived in July could boost their chances.
