Yesterday the Russian journalist and political activist Daria Dugina died in Russia due to an explosion in her vehicle. Her body was completely burned.

Russia’s ultimatums to NATO and to the US: Putin wanted a Europe subservient to Moscow
MH17: the shooting down of an airliner by pro-Russians in Ukraine and Russia’s lies

The daughter of a very influential character in the Kremlin

The events occurred near Bolshiye Vyaziomy, in the Moscow region. The deceased is the daughter of Aleksandr Dugin, founder in 1993 of the National Bolshevik Party (NBP), an extremist organization that mixed communism, nazism and Russian nationalism. Today Dugin is a very influential figure in the Kremlin, mainly as a theorist of the so-called Eurasianism, a nationalist ideology that gathers many aspects of the postulates of the NBP, mixed with a strong tendency towards conspiracy theories, theories that Dugin and his sympathizers use to extend Russian influence in the West.

Dugina supported the repression against the Russians who reject the invasion of Ukraine

Like her father, Dugina was a staunch apologist for the Russian invasion of Ukraine, portraying her as a “clash” of civilizations between “globalism” and “Eurasianism”, and even enthusiastically supported the repressive measures of the Putin regime against Russian citizens who reject the war, arrived to affirm: There will be no purges. It will be a self-cleaning“.

A possible assassination attempt directed against his father: “they had many enemies”

About Dugina’s death, Russian media Lenta.ru speaks openly about “murder”, noting the following: “Experts believe that the target was Aleksandr Dugin himself, but at the last moment he decided to go in another car.” Last night, the Russian newspaper Gazeta.ru notes that the car that He was driving the deceased era of his father. This media has also published another news about these events, pointing out the following: “A friend of the deceased, Sergei Alexandrov, said that the death of Daria Dugina was an attack on her “political position and patriotic views”, reports the television channel REN.”

In Telegram channel of REN it is noted that Alexandrov claimed that both Dugin like her daughter “had many enemies”, and the following words of that friend of the deceased are quoted: “There were different precedents by the enemies, in the context of those people who declared openly rejecting his position. And most of the time this was done anonymously.”

The strange treatment of what happened in the Kremlin media

The most striking of these events has been the strange reaction of the official Kremlin media. The official agency RIA Novosti published a brief message on Telegram hours after the events, when the news it had been spreading on social media for almost an hour now. The text stated: “A car caught fire on the road in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region, a source told RIA Novosti.” No mention of Dugina’s death.

In turn, the official agency Tass took more than two hours to publish the news, and after publishing it he has avoided any reference to a murder or an attack, speaking simply of “an explosion”.

A mysterious series of murders of Russian oligarchs

When these two news items were published by official Russian agencies, Dugin’s supporters were already spreading various speculations on social networks, blaming Ukraine, the CIA, the Israeli Mossad, the British MI6, the West… Interestingly, being so fond of conspiracy theories, none of the pro-Russian Internet users has suggested that it may have been an attack from within, a possibility that cannot be ruled out considering what has been happening : from January to May, seven Russian oligarchs were found assassinated, some of them brutally. Crimes that until now are surrounded by mystery, without the perpetrators of these murders having been located to date.

An expert on Russian organized crime points to the FSB

Regarding the death of Daria Dugina in what clearly appears to be a murder, analyst Olga Lautman, who is dedicated to studying the links between Russian organized crime and government entities of the Russian Federation, pointed out last night: “Now the question is whether FSB [Russia’s top intelligence service, successor to the KGB] did this? Was her father the target? And if not FSB then who was responsible?” Lautman was also surprised of that the news about what happened published by the Kremlin media do not cite the state security services themselves to report on Dugina’s death, “considering that it happened in Moscow”.
