Touching video "Flew in, cut down, woke up in the hospital" - how military medics save lives on the front line
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky recently stated that 500 Ukrainian soldiers are injured on the front lines every day. Nastia Stanko and Kolian Pastyko visited the frontline hospitals in the Donbas, where the hardest of fighting is now. They talked with the doctors of the so-called strongpoint hospitals, military surgeons, commanders and privates of the medical service, volunteer doctors, and the wounded.

«Прилетіло, вирубало, очнувся в больнічкє» — як військові медики рятують життя на передовій

In their story: — an anesthesiologist who took a leave of absence in a Vienna hospital to evacuate wounded Ukrainian soldiers from the front line; — a former commander of the Azov, who decided to become a brigade paramedic in this full-scale war; — a surgeon from the Ivano-Frankivsk region, who set up a military hospital in the Donbas (through this medical unit, one and a half thousand wounded have already passed) and who changed his military uniform for a hospital gown and back to a military uniform; — a volunteer dentist who laid under fire for 6 hours until he could get the wounded back to positions. Often under fire or at high speed, they sewed up wounds, stopped the blood, and saved lives. Watch in our report how they do it.
