After the fall of Severodonetsk, fighting in eastern Ukraine has mainly focused on its twin city, Lysychansk- the last remaining Ukrainian stronghold in Luhansk province. Luhansk’s governor has said Lysychansk is now surrounded by Russian forces, who are subjecting the city to a major shelling campaign.
