Ukraine war: Russian forces shell areas near Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant ahead of UN inspection

Ukrainian forces have launched "intensive long-range strikes against Russian command", according to the latest update from Britain's Ministry of Defence. The strikes are part of Ukraine's counter-offensive operations in the south of the country, the MoD said in a tweet, targeting both command and logistics positions.
