Ukrainian Troops Seize Troop Positions Up to Russian BMP-2 in Kherson

Reported by Al Jazeera, starting Wednesday (31/8/2022), Ukrainian troops launched a counterattack via ground in eight directions simultaneously. Ukraine launched a counter-attack after weeks of targeting Russian supply lines, command posts, military supplies and ammunition depots and air bases with both long-range and drone strikes. These attacks destroyed important bridges and vital Russian facilities. Russian troops eventually made a number of pontoon crossings on the Dnieper River.
