“Welcome Home” Putin Tells Annexed Ukraine Regions, Says "Victory Will Be Ours" In Red Square Speech

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed a huge crowd during a grand celebration at Moscow's Red Square on September 30 after signing treaties to incorporate four Ukrainian regions controlled by Moscow into Russia. Putin and the Moscow-installed leaders in four regions of Ukraine put their names on treaties. Putin welcomed the new regions saying "Russia not only opens doors of native home for our brothers and sisters, it opens its heart to them."
