BMD-2 Hit and Set on Fire

A Russian BMD-2 is hit and set on fire near Kherson. I thought I would take a look at this video here, showing a Russian BMP 2 becoming the Human Torch after taking fire in Ukraine. I’ve sene it suggested that the fire like this is because the BMD-2’s fuel tanks are in the doors which elads to this happening—that is I believe only with BMPs, the BMD does have fuel anks at the rear, but they aren’t located in the doors.
