Friends often say that in Dali, even farming seems like a romantic endeavor because the fields are often filled with blooming flowers. There’s a vegetable that grows in the fields called the "ottelia acuminata" It blooms every day, year-round, and has a unique texture—crisp, tender, and smooth. Rich in nutrients, it is one of Yunnan's rare "luxury vegetables." Every morning, delicate white flowers bloom, swaying gently in the breeze. It also goes by another name, “fickle flower.” It doesn’t need much seasoning, as its flavor is naturally fresh and delicious.
